180_123 interference 123. The Court notes that the applicants were convicted under Article 20.2 of the CAO before and after the 2012 amendments (see paragraphs 66 and 68 above). It provided that violations of the regulations concerning public events were punishable. The relevant regulations were set out in the Public Assemblies Act. The applicants were prosecuted for organising or participating in public events without giving prior notification to the competent public authorities, thus breaching section 7 of the Act.
