At the prison she was detained in a very small cell which she claims was filthy and that due to the high temperatures the air was suffocating. She claims that Turkish policemen in civilian clothes continuously entered the cell and beat her with an electric club, harassed her and laughed at her. She also alleges that she was threatened if she made a complaint to the court about her injuries by individuals who came to visit her and who were wearing civilian clothes. She complains that she had a terrible pain in her abdomen as a result of the ill-treatment she suffered.
