The Court does not consider that the impugned conduct of the “assembly”, for which some of the applicants were held responsible, was of such a nature and degree as to remove their participation in the ANNENKOV AND OTHERS v. RUSSIA JUDGMENT 27 demonstration from the scope of protection of the right to freedom of peaceful assembly under Article 11 of the Convention.
