402_21 interference 21. A group of counter-demonstrators gathered next to the participants in the demonstration. They shouted homophobic slogans, called for violence against the participants and threw stones and smoke bombs at them. At around 3 p.m. one of the counter-demonstrators ran up to Mr Prokopenko and punched him in the face and hands. The police present at the scene did not intervene.
